Breastfeeding IS natural - but it does not COME naturally to many....why?  Because we no long grow up surrounded by breastfeeding.  Instead we are inundated with myths and false information that derail journeys, sometimes before they have really begun.

The majority of parents want to breastfeed - almost 97% of mothers leave hospitals breastfeeding, but by 3 months only 40% are still breastfeeding, and by 6 months this has dropped to 12% (the WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until 6 months, with the introduction of solids at 6 months and continued breastfeeding until 2 years and beyond if mother and baby want).

In the 2.5 years I have been an IBCLC I have come to realise that the majority of new parents do not have any major issues that would prevent them from breastfeeding long term.  Usually they have received misinformation, conflicting information, or maybe just no information at all, and so they are 'stumbling' through their journey, not knowing who to turn to for help.

I have been teaching this class in person for about a year.  However, while many state how informative it is and how much more they understand afterwards, I have heard from some clients after the baby has been born, having the same issues as those who did not do it.

This is why I have recorded the information and given participants 3 months access to the videos - technically this is information we should grow up learning, so it is understandable that it would be difficult to learn a lifetime worth of information in just 2 hours*.  This way you can watch the videos as often as you want, and even after the baby is born.

*The in person class is 2 hours - to allow for questions and deviation of the usual information - the videos add up to approx 1hr 20mins.

Information covered:

* Biology of breastfeeding and newborns

* Getting good attachment

* How to know baby is getting enough

* Things to think about for post birth

* Common myths and issues

* Where to get help if needed

After payment you will receive a link - you will need to fill in the details there and wait for an email saying you have been approved (usually done within 24hrs).

Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions -
