Birthing Basics

I often hear women say they left things to chance or just wanted to 'go with the flow', but then were left disappointed with how things happened, or that they felt they weren't able to make decisions because they didn't really understand what was happening.

Attending an antenatal birthing class can give you that knowledge and understanding

I love educating women and their partners on all things related to pregnancy, birth, and newborn.  I really believe that knowledge is power - if you know what is 'normal' you can make good, informed decisions for your and baby.

Do you know about the hormones that are required to give birth?

Do you know how to promote these hormones?

Do you know what options you have for pain relief (besides an epidural)?  Or what positions can assist the baby through the pelvis?

For generations, women have been denied this knowledge and now we are afraid of birth because we don't know what is going to happen
